The Cary Park District will be holding public input sessions regarding the Hoffman Park Phase 1 Open Space Lands Acquisition and Development (OSLAD) Grant Application. The OSLAD Program is a state-financed grant program that provides funding assistance to local government agencies for acquisition and/or development of land for public parks and open space.
Open house meetings are scheduled for 1:30 - 4:30 pm and 5:30 - 8:30 pm and provide an opportunity for the community to review the plans for the Phase 1 development for a community park at Hoffman Park and to provide comment. [more]

Once you arrive for the evening, you will not be able to leave unless accompanied by a parent or guardian.

Join your friends and teens from local agencies for a day of fun. This park is on 11 acres in Kenosha, WI. The trip includes admission for go karts, mini golf, bumper boats, bumper cars and token for the arcade room or batting cages. The fee includes all attractions listed above, transportation, and fun. Also available is a concession stand and video/redemption games. Bring extra money for snacks, and additional games and activities.

A "paradise under glass" describes the three acres of conservatory and botanical gardens that make up the Lincoln Park Conservatory, a haven right in the heart of Lincoln Park. With its four display houses, the Palm House, Fern Room Orchid House and Show Room, the conservatory is always green and lush. Tour the conservatory on your own and afterward we will stop at the Cheesecake Factory for lunch. Lunch is self pay. Transportation is by motorcoach. Return time is approximate.

Spend a fun-filled day with your friends competing against each other at the Challenge X-treme in Joilet. Experience the ultimate in paintball excitement, like Armageddon and the Jungle of Doom. Fight Like A Girl Program
This program primary emphasis is to teach women how to fight assault from the ground. Learn how to defend yourself against chokes, hits and grabs. This module is especially effective for attacks in parking lots, parking garages and other areas where it is imperative that you not be taken to a second location.
