Join other teens throughout Illinois for an exciting evening at Chestnut Mountain Ski Resort in Galena. Ski down the seventeen slopes, board down the seven snowboarding terrain. This two day course will provide the information and skills necessary for safe and responsible childcare in the absence of parents or guardians. This training will help participants develop skills in five critical areas: leadership, safety and safe play, basic care, first aid, and professionalism. American Red Cross Babysitters Training Course and Basic First Aid cards will be awarded upon successful completion of this course. Participants should bring a drink, snack, and baby doll or stuffed animal to each session.
