Accomplishments to Date
- Over the past four years, the Foundation has awarded $9,500 in scholarships to nineteen students from Cary-Grove High School. These scholarships have helped these students with their post high school endeavors.
- The Foundation has accepted over $11,450 in donations to support various programs at the Kraus Senior Center. These donations have helped to make these programs more affordable and enjoyable by our “greatest generation” of Cary residents.
- The Foundation sponsored Light Up Cary for a Cause alongside Heroes Like Haley. Together, a total of $4,500 was raised between tree sales and donations.
- The Foundation has donated $2,200 to purchase power charging stations that were included in the Lions Park and Kaper Park revitalization projects.
Cary Park Foundation Donates $20,400
The Cary Park Foundation has donated $20,400 to the Cary Park District to be used towards the Cary-Grove outdoor aquatics facility. The Cary Park Foundations mission is to help the Cary Park District do more. With this generous donation the Park District will be able to build a sand volleyball court and purchase power pedestals at the cabanas at the new outdoor aquatics facility at Cary-Grove Park. Thank you to the Cary Park Foundation for this generous donation.
