Knock the Dust off Tournament – Saturday, April 30
Get your team together and compete in this one day double elimination tournament that gives you the opportunity to “knock the dust of” from the cold winter months. Any adult 12″ softball team can register – with a maximum of 10 teams allowed in the tournament. Games will begin at 9:00 am at Lions Park and run throughout the day. The number of teams registered will determine the format.
Registration packets will be available at the Community Center beginning December 14. Team fee is $250 for residents and $350 for non-residents. 60% of the roster must reside within the Cary Park District boundaries to receive the resident rate.
Spring/Summer Softball League
Get your team together and compete in a recreational softball league. Games are played at Lions Park at 7:00 pm, 8:00 pm, and 9:00 pm. Each team will play each other twice. The number of teams registered in a particular league will determine the league format. Post season playoffs are planned.
Teams must be able to make all time slots available for play; there are no requests for specific game times. This league is sanctioned by the National Softball Association (NSA). A manager’s meeting will be held on the first night of the league at the fields beginning at 6:30 pm (prior to the first game).
Information packets will be available at the Community Center beginning January 14.
