This class includes Hatha yoga postures, techniques, and sequences for flexibility, strength, postural alignment, increased energy, and overall health. Registration is not required. Please pay the R/NR drop-in fee of $10/$15 at the front desk before each class. Punch cards and Unlimited Fitness Passes cannot be used for this class.
This is an ongoing program. It is held on Fridays between 8:00-9:10 am.

The Frog Lady brings over 20 live reptiles and amphibians for exciting hands on fun! Learn all about these amazing animals and learn why they are so cool and not at all something to fear! Anyone willing, may touch and even hold several of the animals after the show. Children and adults will love this one of a kind fun show!
Forest Bathing Walk–
Forest Bathing Walk
Sands E. Main Street PrairieEast Main Street, east of Decker DriveTake part in a slow, mindful walk that will help you awaken your senses and connect with nature. There are plenty of benefits to immersing yourself in nature through a forest therapy walk (also called forest bathing). You can reduce stress, lower blood pressure, boost immunity, and increase feelings of calm and gratitude. Walks are not strenuous and cover less than half a mile. Participants will be guided through a series of gentle invitations to slow down, be present, and explore nature through the senses. The program will finish with a “forest tea” featuring tea made from locally harvested plants. Each walk will be different, so feel free to join more than one!

Lions Park1200 Silver Lake RdCary, IL 60013Join in on the fun and start playing the nation’s most loved game! Players are introduced to stance, receiving, rushing, blocking, and defense. Each week ends with a scrimmage encouraging teamwork and sportsmanship. Games focus on fundamentals and field concepts, as well as, positions and mechanics. No equipment necessary.
The program will be held on Fridays, July 26 - August 30 between 5:00-5:45 pm.

Kaper ParkPlayers experience daily scrimmages with active instruction and tips from the coaching staff. Players are encouraged to employ skills used in football such as running pass routes, play calling, defensive positioning, fundamentals of blocking, and pass coverage. These skills and others will be put to use in a “game time” environment while the players scrimmage each week.
This program will be held on Fridays, July 26 - August 30 between 6:00-7:00 pm.

Fluid movements will develop core strength plus increase flexibility while improving balance and posture. All levels are welcome. This class meets at Lions Park by the south playground.

Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center1201 First StreetCary, IL 60013Join the Cary Area Public Library at Sunburst Bay! On this day only, show your library card and your admission is $5. Poolside storytime will take place during the safety breaks at 2:00 pm and 5:00 pm. Library staff will also be onsite to register eligible community members for a library card. To get a library card, you must live within the Cary Area Public Library District boundaries, and show a picture ID with your current name and address, and a current piece of mail. Parents or legal guardians must apply for any minors under 18 years.

Community Center255 Briargate RoadCary, IL 60013This workout is perfect for those who want to party but will also put extra emphasis on toning and sculpting to define those muscles! We will add lightweight maraca-like toning sticks to enhance your sense of rhythm and coordination while toning target zones, including arms, core, and lower body for 30 minutes of the class. The challenge of adding resistance by using Zumba Toning sticks helps you focus on specific muscle groups, so you (and your muscles) stay engaged.

Students will have the opportunity for self-expression through theater games, dance fundamentals, and singing exercises. Students will be placed in age groups at the start of the class and work together as a team. Please wear jazz shoes, ballet shoes, or socks and bring a closeable water bottle to class.

This body positive workshop will walk you through the fundamentals of ballet in an encouraging environment. Please wear ballet shoes or socks and bring a closeable water bottle to class. Our instructors will keep dancers engaged by exploring a variety of disciplines through their time. They will learn new techniques in ballet, jazz, hip hop, lyrical, Broadway, and more. Please bring a water bottle and a small healthy snack each day.

Kaper ParkHone your soccer skills in the off season with this weekly skills clinic conducted by OM Soccer Skills. This is an opportunity for new players to gain valuable skills and for experienced players to grow their abilities. Practices will be fast paced, drill, and game focused but most importantly, fun.
The program will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays, July 29 - August 14 between 4:30-5:30 pm.

Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center will be hosting several special events this summer. For certain events a minimum amount of participants is needed to offer it. Pre-registering for these events are encouraged to ensure that the event will run. If the minimum amount is not met, the event may be cancelled. On-site registration is accepted for events if space is still available. Registration is accepted online, at Sunburst Bay, and at the Community Center. Season passes, punch cards, and guest/complimentary passes are not accepted for these events.

This mini-camp for toddlers provides hands-on games, crafts, and activities that will fill the morning. In a supportive environment your child will gain independence, experience socialization with peers, and have fun.
The program will be held on Tuesday - Thursday, July 30 - August 1 between 9:00-11:00 am.
Lunch Out Group–
Lunch Out Group
Join us for lunch and great socializing at area restaurants. Today we will be dining at Anastasia's in Antioch. Participants will order off the menu and self-pay. You may drive on your own or take the Park District bus for $5 for Cary Park District residents or $6 for non-residents. The bus leaves at 11:15 am from the Community Center.
Advanced registration is required for all participants whether riding the bus or driving yourself. Registration is accepted online and at the Community Center. Registration deadline is July 23 and refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
