Splashpad Story Time
Kaper ParkCool off with the Cary Area Public Library for a Splash Pad Storytime at Kaper Park. The storytime will feature stories, rhymes, music, and movement followed by the Splash Pad opening at 10:00 am. Registration is not required.
Zoom Spanish for Kids–
Zoom Spanish for Kids
Join us right from your living room as we explore new cultures and learn Spanish, French, Italian, or Japanese via Zoom! Younger children will learn through fun and interactive activities and music, while older children will learn phonetics to begin reading and writing in that language. Middle school, high school, and adult students will learn grammar, vocabulary, and practice conversational skills. Classes are taught live by a Language in Action, Inc. instructor. Zoom login information will be e-mailed to participants before the first class.

Sweeps & Sculls Indoor Rowing4410 Rt. 176, Unit 14Crystal Lake,RowFit™ combines the low-impact and endurance benefits of exercises such as swimming with the strength and resistance benefits of weight training all in one 60-minute workout. Using Concept2 RowErgs combined with a variety of bodyweight, isometric, and weight circuits, these sessions will meet you where you are in your fitness journey. Whether you are ready to push yourself to your limits, or need to ease in more slowly, the variety of steady fat burning workouts and higher intensity strength focused workouts will give you a lot to look forward to in each 6-week session. Cary Park District punch cards and Unlimited Fitness Passes cannot be used for this class. Each participant will create a beaded item for backpacks, an accessory, or jewelry. Choose from a great assorted bead selection from crystals to sports, adventure, unicorn, animals, neon, and more. Crafts include fun accessories for school, decorating with paints, embellishments, stickers, and more. A surprise goodie bag goes home with all guests. This is a great class for girls and boys.

Join us for good food and great socialization at area restaurants. Participants will order off the menu and self-pay. Transportation by Park District bus is available for $5 (n/r $6), and leaves from the Community Center. Return time is approximate. Advanced registration is required for all participants whether riding the bus or driving yourself. The registration deadline is one week prior to the event date and refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
Restaurant: Pizza Ranch in Elkhorn (11:00 am reservation). The Park District bus will leave the Community Center at 9:45 am.

We will be discussing specifics of some of the all-time Bear greats, what made each one special, and the dynamic inner works of Da Coach – Mike Ditka.
