Gather with friends from Crystal Lake, Cary, Barrington, and Lake in the Hills recreation agencies to celebrate the holiday season. Indulge in a catered brunch showcasing a delightful array of sweet and savory dishes from local restaurants, including a soup and baked potato bar, along with coffee and lemonade. A cash bar will be available, offering soda, mixed drinks, beer, and wine. Don’t forget to bring your dollar bills for a chance to win the Pot of Gold at the event. ($1 tickets will be available for purchase on the day of the event, and you must be present to claim your prize.) Join us for this annual holiday gathering packed with food, games, raffles, and entertainment! Doors will not open until 10:30 am. Space is limited. Imagine your slime smelling like a holiday firepit, fragrant pine trees, candy canes, or a box of holiday chocolates. We will also play a slimy game to catch the Grinch before he steals our Christmas. This is crazy FUN to blow off some steam as kids get excited for winter break to arrive. Every participant will go home with the slime they made. Kids must be able to follow directions independently.

WWII is over, former GIs Bob and Phil have become a highly popular song and dance team who meet an equally talented up and coming sisters act. The men travel to a quaint ski resort in Vermont to watch sisters Betty and Judy perform. But once there, they realize the mountain resort is owned by their former General, who is about to lose it all. Plans begin to help save the beloved General and his business, which culminates in a show filled with epic dance numbers, spectacular costumes and a finale rendition of “White Christmas” that will make you a believer. This family favorite brings generations together to celebrate the magic of the holidays. Before the show, we will head to Harner’s Bakery & Restaurant for a self-pay meal. Before (or after) the show, enjoy dining at The Walnut Room in Macy’s, a historic restaurant known for its elegant decor, classic American cuisine, and the iconic 45-foot Great Tree displayed during the holiday season.
