Chess Scholars
Develop your child’s intellect through the royal game of chess! Current research has shown a strong link between chess and academic performance in a variety of areas including mathematics and language arts. Chess has been proven to enhance children’s motivation, concentration, focus, social skills, and creativity. Each class will consist of a fun, interactive teaching period and guided practice time. Both beginner and experienced players are welcome and will learn under the guidance of an experienced Chess Scholars coach. This program is a co-op with Crystal Lake Park District and the Lake in the Hills Park & Recreation Department. This session will be held at Woodscreek, 1420 Willow Tree Dr. in Crystal Lake.
The program will be held Monday - Friday, June 10 - 14 between 9:00 am - Noon.

Little Doctor School PreK Camp
Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a doctor and learn about vital organs in the human body. These future doctors will learn how to use a stethoscope, blood pressure cuff, and reflex hammer. They will practice administering first aid, learn how pharmacists play a role in administering medications, and more! This program is a co-op with Crystal Lake Park District and the Lake in the Hills Park & Recreation Department.
The program will be held Monday - Friday, June 10 - 14 between 9:00 am -Noon.

Young Rembrandts Art Camp - Baby Animals Workshop
Embark on an enchanting 5-day journey through the diverse world of baby animals. Begin with the heartwarming realism of nature’s young, from the gentle gaze of a fawn to playful otters. Transition to the whimsical Kawaii style, capturing those irresistibly cute wide-eyed creatures. Add a twist as we imagine baby animals donning fashionable attire, blending humor with creativity. Little Sprouts
In a small school setting, your child has a social environment to support developmentally appropriate activities for the individual as well as group. This program provides hands-on experiences such as math, art, music, manipulatives and dramatic play to enhance your child’s independence through learning. Register for one or both days!
The program will be held on Mondays, June 10 - July 15 between 9:15 - 11:00am.

Little Veterinarian School - Cat Camp
Camp participants will role-play the key responsibilities of a veterinarian and learn how to care for a cat. These future veterinarians will learn how to remove ticks, perform a nose-to-tail exam, understand proper animal nutrition and hydration, suture lacerations, and more! This program is a coop with Crystal Lake Park District and the Lake in the Hills Park & Recreation Department.
The program will be held Monday-Friday, June 10 - 14 between 1:00-4:00 pm.

Empowered Teen Yoga
In this class we will use affirmation, journaling, easy breath work, and gentle yoga flow to connect with the mind and body. Bring a yoga mat and water.
