Enjoy a beautiful fall day in the countryside as we travel to Harvard, Illinois. Our visit includes a guided orchard tour, where we’ll learn about the history of the family farm, how the orchard is cared for, and the important role of honey bees. There will also be time to explore the Country Store Market, Royal Oak Bakery, and Sweet Shop for seasonal treats and unique gifts. We will enjoy a self-pay lunch at the Country Restaurant, known for its homemade entrées, sandwiches, and famous pies. The registration fee includes transportation by Park District bus and a bag for apple picking. Moderate walking is involved with this trip. Registration deadline is August 26 and refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
