In celebration of Arbor Day, the Cary Park District is proud to launch our new Adopt-a-Bench or Tree Program, a meaningful way to honor loved ones, celebrate milestones, or give back to the parks you love.
This updated program introduces new features designed to create a deeper, more personal connection. Bench plaques now include a QR code, allowing participants to share stories, photos, and memories that can be accessed by visitors. Tree adoptions also include a bronze leaf displayed on the new Recognition Wall at the Community Center, providing a lasting tribute in a central location.
Participants can choose to install a new bench, add a plaque to an existing bench, or adopt a native tree. All installations are maintained by the Park District and become part of the park system for everyone to enjoy.
With limited bench locations available, especially at Hoffman Park, interested participants are encouraged to act soon.
