Joffrey Ballet’s Nutcracker & Walnut Room Lunch (Co-Op)
Experience the enchanting world of The Nutcracker this holiday season, inspired by Chicago’s 1893 World’s Fair. On Christmas Eve, Marie embarks on a magical journey after witnessing a battle between Toy Soldiers and the Rat King. Set to Tchaikovsky’s score, the performance features attractions from around the globe, including the Golden Statue, an Arabian enchantress, Venetian dancers, Chinese dragons, and Buffalo Bill’s Wild West Show. Before (or after) the show, enjoy dining at The Walnut Room in Macy’s, a historic restaurant known for its elegant decor, classic American cuisine, and the iconic 45-foot Great Tree displayed during the holiday season. Minimal walking. Transportation via Cary Park District Bus to Barrington; motorcoach from there to Chicago. Registration deadline is November 21 and refunds will not be issued after the deadline.
