Early mornings and after-school hours just got a whole lot easier for Cary School District 26 families! ET KidZone, the Cary Park District\u2019s before and after-school program, provides kindergarten and elementary students with a safe, supervised, and engaging place to start and end their school day.<\/p>\n
ET KidZone participants enjoy a mix of independent and organized activities, including indoor and outdoor play, crafts, group games, table activities, homework or reading time, and free play. An afternoon snack is also offered to participants.<\/p>\n
The program is held at the following Cary School District 26 schools:<\/p>\n
Briargate Elementary: 1st-5th grades
\nDeer Path Elementary: 1st-5th grades
\nOak Knoll Early Childhood Center: Kindergarten only
\nThree Oaks Elementary: Dual Language Kindergarten and 1st-5th grades<\/p>\n
Morning care is available from 7:00-8:30 am and afternoon care is available from 3:30-6:00 pm. ET KidZone will also open at noon on Cary School District 26 scheduled half days. Children attending on half days will need to bring a sack lunch.<\/p>\n
Fees are $12 per morning session, $17 per afternoon session, and $37 per half day.<\/p>\n
Day-Off School programs will also be offered on select days when school is not in session. These programs are held at the Cary Park District Community Center from 7:00 am-6:00 pm and require separate registration and payment.<\/p>\n
Openings are still available at all participating schools except Three Oaks Elementary School. Families interested in the Three Oaks location may join the waitlist and will be contacted if space becomes available.<\/p>\n
Parents who have already registered should look for an email from ePact <\/strong><\/a>on July 27 with instructions on setting up an ePact profile, which is required for all participating families.<\/p>\n
