It’s summertime!! Time to unplug, go outside, explore, be active and make new friends. Cary Park District’s summer camp programs offer kids of all ages an opportunity to do all of that and so much more!
Register for camp online or at the Community Center, 255 Briargate Road, Cary. Cary Park District resident registration has started and non-resident registration begins Monday, April 18 at 7:00 am.
Camp ECHO & ECHO Extreme
For kids in grades K-8, Camp ECHO is Cary Park District’s solution to the summertime boredom blues. Sign up now to give your child a summer vacation loaded with rich outdoor interactive experiences. Each week-long session offers a variety of daily activities including fishing, hiking, sports, crafts, swimming at Sunburst Bay Aquatic Center, exploring on field trips, and enjoying theme days. Located in the beautiful Fel-Pro RRR Conservation Area at 1520 Crystal Lake Avenue, Cary, Camp ECHO (grades K – 5th) and ECHO Extreme (grades 6th – 8th) are the perfect environment to ensure your child has a daily dose of fresh air, social interaction, physical activity and mental stimulation all summer long.
Camp ECHO & ECHO Extreme is held from 8:30 am to 3:30 pm Monday – Friday with extended time options from 7:00 to 8:30 am before camp and 3:30 to 6:00 pm after camp to accommodate working parents. A two day flex camp option is also available to allow your child to attend camp on Monday and Wednesday only. Cost of Camp ECHO & ECHO Extreme ranges from $70 to $205 per week depending on residency, camp session, and date of registration.

Sunshine Camp
For children ages 3-5, Camp Sunshine is a fun-packed camp that encourages youngsters to maintain social, mental and physical activity during the summer months through arts and crafts, music, outdoor exploration, water fun, friendship building, and more. Activities are based around a weekly theme to ensure a variety of activities for campers all summer long.
Sunshine Camp is located at the Cary Park District’s Preschool, 100 Cary-Algonquin Road, Cary. Weekly two day or five day sessions from 9:00 am to 1:00 pm are available all summer. Each camper must bring a sack lunch, a towel and come to camp with their swimsuit on under their clothes for daily outdoor water play. Children must be three years old by the first day of camp and completely toilet trained – no pull ups.
The cost for Sunshine Camp’s five day session is $103 for Cary Park District residents and $155 for non-residents. The two day session is $63 for Cary Park District residents and $95 for non-residents.
