Named for former Cary Mayor August Kraus, the Senior Center offers a wide variety of programs, events and outings for our greatest generation.

Blood Pressure Screening
Free blood pressure checks are provided on the first Friday of each month from 9:00 – 11:00 am. No appointment necessary.
Join the Book Club discussion group on the second Thursday of each month from 10:00 – 11:00 am. Call the Senior Center at 847.639.8118 for book titles.
Meets on first through fourth Thursday evenings from 6:00 – 9:00 pm.
Canasta Club meets on the second Thursday at 11:00 am and the fourth and fifth Thursdays at 10:00 am.
Crafters meet on select Fridays from 10:00 – 11:00 am to discuss projects and share ideas. The cost of supplies will vary.
Crimson & Plum Divas

Meets on the first and third Thursdays of each month from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm.
Lift your spirits and raise your voice in song. No experience necessary, no tryouts and no performance pressure. Glee Club meets weekly on Tuesday from 10:00 – 11:00 a.m.
Mah Jongg Club
Meets on Tuesdays from 11:30 am – 2:30 pm.
Meets Tuesdays from 11:00 am – 3:00 pm and Thursdays from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
