As of Friday, June 11, the State of Illinois is in Phase 5: Illinois Restored of the Governor’s Restore Illinois Plan for COVID-19 response. Upon moving into Phase 5 there are no longer capacity restrictions so certain programming areas and events within the Park District will see increased capacities. Fully vaccinated individuals can opt to wear a mask or face covering. Unvaccinated individuals should wear a mask or face covering, including all children age 2 – 11 who currently can not be vaccinated.
Beginning Monday, June 14 the Park District will be eliminating reservations for the Fitness Center and Pool. Pool admission will move to a daily admission or pool pass option.
Effective May 20, 2021
In response to Illinois Gov. J.B. Pritzker’s Executive Order 2021-10, FULLY VACCINATED* individuals are no longer required to wear masks while within Cary Park District facilities and programs. By entering a Park District facility or participating in a program without a face covering, you are verifying truthfully that you have been FULLY VACCINATED*.
Children under the age of 12 as well as unvaccinated individuals are required to wear a mask at all times while within Cary Park District facilities and programs. All staff and coaches must wear a mask while working with children under the age of 12.
While outdoors, masks should be worn when social distancing is not possible for children under the age of 12 and unvaccinated individuals.
