You will experience the exotic, the unusual and the unexpected! At House on the Rock, you will take a self-guided tour through indoor and outdoor exhibits. Alex Jordan’s awesome, retreat built atop a chimney of rock, opened to the public in 1960. Some highlights include: the world’s largest carousel, a 200’ sea creature, automated music machines and much more. Self-pay food is available at the concession stand serving pizza, sandwiches and snacks. This site has rough terrains, stairs and various areas inaccessible by scooter or walker. Extensive walking is involved with this trip. Please dress for the weather. Transportation is by Park District bus to Crystal Lake and then motorcoach to Spring Green, WI.Register at #18278
