DESCRIPTION;ENCODING=QUOTED-PRINTABLE: Celebrate National Trails Day on by walking, biking, or skating the 12 miles of trail within the community!National Trails Day, sponsored by the American Hiking Society, is the country’s largest celebration of trails. This day increases awareness about trails and celebrates the hard work and support of many people and partners including volunteers, land agencies, and outdoor minded businesses who take care of America’s trails.There are approximately 12 miles of trail throughout the community. The Cary Park District, Village of Cary, and Cary Consolidated School District 26 have built and currently maintain certain portions of the community trail system. Trails provide a great opportunity to enjoy walking, biking, and in-line skating while providing access to local parks, schools, the library, and commerce.Pick up a printed trail map at the Community Center, or view it here
