The majority of the time is spent outdoors, where children can play, stay active, build independence, develop life skills, make new friends, and create lasting memories. In addition to arts and crafts, sports, and games, campers will have the chance to explore nature through fishing, hiking, and scavenger hunts. Weekly swim days and field trips are also part of the fun.
Our camp counselors are a mix of experienced and enthusiastic high school students, college students, and adults. They foster a non-competitive environment where kids can relax, have fun, and simply enjoy being kids. Many of our counselors have been with the Park District and camp program for several years.

The Swim Instructor team is diligently trained by experienced Instructors and Swim School Coordinators. With safety being this program’s priority, Lifeguards are always on duty while swimmers are in class.
