Early Childhood Mini Camps: Big Fun for Little Explorers

While our beloved Sunshine Camp takes a brief pause this year to allow for wonderful ADA upgrades to our preschool facility, we’re thrilled to introduce Early Childhood Mini Camps—a perfect summertime experience for our youngest campers. Sunshine Camp will return in summer 2027, but in the meantime, these new Mini Camps promise just as much joy, discovery, and play.

Designed specifically for children ages 2½ to 4½ not entering kindergarten. Each three day session blends play based learning with sensory exploration and early social development. From hands on crafts and engaging sensory projects to lively games and gross motor play, children will enjoy a full variety of indoor and outdoor activities crafted to spark curiosity and build confidence.

Cool off with the Cary Area Library for a splash pad Storytime featuring stories, rhymes, music, and movement, followed by the splash pad opening at 10:00am. This Storytime will be geared towards preschool aged children, but the whole family is welcome!

Sing, dance, play, learn, and imagine with us! This movement-based program uses music to facilitate learning. Activities include use of rhythm instruments and movement props, work on gross and fine motor skills, including balance and coordination, and engagement of imaginative play. All classes are structured and include early listening and following directions skills. Join us for a rockin’ good time!

Wiggle and giggle with us! Baby Rock is a unique combination of sensory experiences with stimulating music and exercises to help strengthen and stretch your baby. Activities will include sing alongs, exposure to simple instruments and sensory props, motion exercises, bubbles, and more! Get ready for a rockin’ good time with your tiniest dancer! This class is intended for non-walkers.
