Does your child enjoy Minecraft? Imagine if children learn civil engineering and city planning principles while they are in a Minecraft world. Students work as civil engineers and city planners to design and create a structured city that includes roads, bridges, city zones, housing, government buildings, businesses, and more in a Minecraft world. The session ends with a presentation of the students’ city. Students should have a basic understanding of how to use a computer, a mouse, and have basic working knowledge of Minecraft. Each student needs a computer, a Minecraft/Microsoft account, and Minecraft Java Edition installed on a supported computer connected to the Internet for this online class. Minecraft is used as a tool for hands-on learning. We inspire future engineers using Minecraft. Day and time will be arranged with parent and staff after registration.
