Resident registration begins as soon as you receive your brochure.

Registration Guidelines

• Payments accepted:
  • Checks (payable to the Cary Park District)
  • Cash (Do not pay with cash if you are mailing in the registration or dropping off in the drop box. Receipts will be issued upon registration at the Community Center for cash payment validation.)

    Monday - Friday, 5:30 a.m. - 10:00 p.m.
    Saturday - Sunday*, 7:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.
    * Weekend Summer Hours: 7:00 a.m. - 8:00 p.m.
  • Drop-Off: Put in the drop box at the front of the Community Center any time.
    
    Please note: The Park District does not accept phone registrations.
• Residency
  "In District" (or resident) is defined as anyone living within the geographical boundaries of the Cary Park District who pays property taxes contributing to the Cary Park District. The Cary Park District reserves the right to request proof of residency. "Out of District" (nonresident) is someone who lives outside the geographical boundaries and does not pay property taxes contributing to the Cary Park District. The Park District also has a fair share program where a non resident can pay an amount equal to a resident based on their EAV thus obtaining a resident status. The Park District assesses a “fair share” out of district fee to all programs and services. In district participants also have an opportunity to go into the random draw for programs before out of district participants. Proof of residency is required.
  
• Withdrawal Guidelines
  1. Cary Park District reserves the right to cancel any program with insufficient enrollment. An automatic and full refund will be granted.
  2. All other requests must be made in writing, using the Withdrawal Form, at the Park District office and not with the program instructor.
  3. When a participant requests to withdraw, a $5 service charge will be deducted per program.
  4. If the first meeting of a program has passed, withdrawal requests will be considered on a prorated basis in addition to the $5 service charge.
  5. All refund checks will be mailed.
  6. Withdrawal guidelines do not apply to one day programs/events, sports leagues, tournaments, tickets to sporting or entertainment events, facility membership or payments that may be required for Preschool and Extended Time.
     
• Satisfaction Guaranteed Policy
  The Cary Park District guarantees your satisfaction with the recreation programs and activities in which you participate. If you are not completely satisfied for any reason, please let us know. You will be able to choose from on of the following options.
  1. Repeat the program at no charge
  2. Receive full credit that can be applied to another program
  3. Receive a full refund
