Having a Party?

Planning your child's next birthday party can be a "piece-of-cake" when you let the Cary Park District help you! We offer several party themes and packages to choose from. Your child and guests will be having so much fun you can simply relax and enjoy your child's special day.

All parties take place at the Community Center. Party fee includes room rental, activity, and an instructor for the designated time frame. You provide the cake, beverages, and guests. Decorations, treat bags and paper goods can be supplied for an additional $4.00 per participant (10 child minimum). Parties are subject to space and staff availability. All parties are one-hour and forty-five minutes in length (unless otherwise noted) and are facilitated by Park District Staff for the duration.

Magic Party
Participate in an interactive magic show where guests are assistants and the guest of honor is the highlight of the show! The combination of comedy and magic tricks will leave everyone in amazement! Guests will leave with their very own balloon creation. This party is two hours in length.

Dinosaurs
Try your hand at creating a dino sponge print. This "dino-party" is filled with lots of fun such as Tar Pit Toss and Musical Bones. Learn dinosaur songs and watch a volcano erupt. Stamps, stencils and Pin the Tail on the Tyrannosaurus will be loads of dino fun!

Fish, Snails & Birthday Tails
Enchant your guests with bubbles and treasures of the deep. Everyone will make and take home a golden treasure box. Play 'Snail, Snail, Where's Your Tail?', ' Fishing for Fun', and 'Hunt for Hidden Treasures.' This party is filled with lots of bubbles and laughter.

Dancing Divas
Warm up with the Electric Slide, YMCA, and other fun dances. Then, create a dance routine to fun music to remember your special day.

Sport Sampler
The perfect party for the high energy kids! We will customize a sports party with a variety of games and athletic activities. Sports available include basketball, soccer, kickball, baseball, and more. Finish out the party with contests and an obstacle course.

Arts & Crafts
A great co-ed party for all ages! You and your guests will have the chance to express yourself and create a project to take home. The project must be selected in advance by the birthday child. Project ideas could be drawing, wood, paper mache, fabric or another medium.

Rock Star
Be the "star" of the party! This party is great for those who like to sing, dance, and perform. The party consists of rock star crafts, games, contests, and singing with the Karaoke machine.

Walleyball
Split your guests into teams and play the fun game of Walleyball - that's volleyball on a racquetball court! This is a great fast-paced party for teens!
