Recreation Program Manager (Year Round/Full Time)
The Recreation Program Manager is responsible for the administration,
organization and management of programs in the Recreation Department
with emphasis in school-age Day Camp, Performing Arts (Dance, Art,
Music, Theatre, Culinary), Youth General Interest, Tweens/Teens and
Adult General Interest.
Position requires energetic and creative individual who possess
outstanding communication, interpersonal and organizational skills. Must
be able to work varying hours to meet program, special event and facility
needs and perform the physical demands of the position. Other required
tasks, duties and responsibilities include planning, customer service,
public relations, safety & risk management, personnel, financial and
facility management. A detailed job description is available on request.
Minimum requirements for this position include a Bachelor’s Degree in
Parks, Recreation or Leisure Services Administration or related field with
a minimum of 1 year full time experience in the field. CPR/AED
certification and a valid driver’s license are required. Individuals who

Recreational Program Instructors
The Cary Park District is looking for local "hidden talent" to instruct or lead various recreational programs. We are recruiting new instructors with creative ideas. Piano Player (Volunteer)
The Cary Park District is seeking a piano player for the Senior Center Glee Club. The Glee Club meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Senior Center. The Club also performs at local nursing homes on the second Tuesday of each month. Interested persons should contact Jayne Anderson, Senior Coordinator at 847.639.8118.
