Community Center Hours
Monday - Thursday, 5:30 am - 10:00 pm
Friday, 5:30 am - 8:00 pm
Saturday - Sunday, 7:00 am - 6:00 pm
Responsible for the assisting with the daily management of park maintenance operations for all park sites. The essential job functions include landscape maintenance, mowing, special projects, snow removal, trash collection, controlled burns, other tasks as assigned and some weekend and/or overtime hours. Supervision of a seasonal work crew or volunteers as assigned. In addition, this position will provide maintenance or assistance to other departments throughout the year.
The position requires a high school diploma, associates degree preferred. Certification in parks maintenance or related areas are desirable. The position requires a minimum of one (1) year related full-time experience. Ability to obtain a Class B CDL driver's license with air brake endorsement and Illinois Department of Agriculture pesticide license within 90 days of employement is required.
