Preschool Teacher (Part Time)
Responsible for planning, organizing and leading of activities within the preschool program. Must display positive and effective leadership while providing a nurturing, safe, caring and consistent environment for young children. CPR/AED and First Aid certifications required, or willingness to obtain. Prior teaching or early childhood experience preferred. Position is part-time, 10-18 hours per week for the 2014-2015 school year.

Park Maintenance (Summer Seasonal)
As a result of the grant received through the 2014 Illinois Youth Recreation Corps program the Cary Park District is hiring additional seasonal Park Maintenance employees. This position is responsible for general maintenance, cleanliness,
assisting with construction projects, janitorial
responsibilities, mowing, trimming, equipment
maintenance, and preventive maintenance program
within the facilities and park system. Requires a minimum of a high school diploma or GED
equivalent. Prior experience in horticulture,
equipment maintenance, and/or construction is
preferred. Ability to communicate (written and verbal) regularly and
effectively with coworkers and patrons. All applicants need to have a valid Illinois Driver’s
License. Must be at least 18 years old.

Recreational Program Instructors
The Cary Park District is looking for local "hidden talent" to instruct or lead various recreational programs. We are recruiting new instructors with creative ideas. Piano Player (Volunteer)
The Cary Park District is seeking a piano player for the Senior Center Glee Club. The Glee Club meets weekly on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 – 11:00 am at the Senior Center. The Club also performs at local nursing homes on the second Tuesday of each month. Interested persons should contact Jayne Anderson, Senior Coordinator at 847.639.8118.
