The Cary Park District offers group, semi-private, and private swim lessons to children as young as 6 months to teens and across all experience levels. Lessons are taught by certified American Red Cross (ARC) Learn to Swim Program Water Safety Instructors and Lifeguards.
Lessons aim to get the newest swimmers comfortable with the water and provide introduction on basic strokes and skills. More experienced swimmers practice and learn more advanced strokes and skills. Students will progress through the program according to their skill level and ability.
Additional classes in Lifeguarding (certification and non certification classes), Water Polo, Diving, and Transition to Training (preparing swimmers for swim team)s classes are also offered.
Information on specific classes including dates, time, and fees will be available in the Summer Program Guide available April 2013.
