Unofficial Results - November 5
On November 4 residents of the Cary Park District had the opportunity to shape the future of the Park District . Unofficial results posted on www.mcvote.org report that the referendum passed 5607/4553, thereby granting permission to sell up to 87-acres of the westernmost portion of Hoffman Park. The funds from the sale are scheduled to be used to build a Multi-Purpose Sports Center at Cary-Grove Park.

The results remain unofficial until all early voting and absentee ballots are posted and the election is certified by the Mc Henry County Clerk. In the meantime, the Park District is looking forward to moving ahead and serving the community in achieving these projects.
